We at the Doctor Who Tumblr would like to say that we have full faith in Matt as a torch bearer.
I’m 99% certain I stubbornly believe that David Tennant, in costume, is going to carry the torch into the stadium and light the flame and they just aren’t telling anyone because they want it to be a “surprise”.
