My dad told me to mail him my credit card today because I’m too responsible with it.
I use it to buy gas, and then the next day I go online and pay the bill. Apparently, this is doing nothing for my credit because you’re supposed to wait for the billing cycle to happen before you pay it off. (?) Paying it off the next day means I’m not borrowing money long enough to establish myself as a responsible credit card owner. I understand why this makes sense for credit card companies, but this makes no sense to me logically (I can’t build credit because I’m too responsible about paying the bill?).
Anyway, I’m mailing it to my dad because the paper bills get sent to my parent’s house. My dad’s going to use the card for himself and pay the bills when they come it. Thanks, Dad! (And shout-out to my mom because I asked my dad if I could buy The Avengers on the card before sending it to him… he said no but Mom told him she’d pay for the movie so I’m getting The Avengers fo free!)
